Dr. Bella Fooksman, D.Ac., L.Ac.

Founder

Bella is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist, and a Certified Acupuncture Detox Specialist with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).


She received her Bachelor of Science degree from New York University, her Master of Acupuncture degree from Tai Sophia Institute and completed a Doctorate (D.Ac.) in Acupuncture at the Maryland University of Integrative Health.  


Her practice was recently featured by CBSlocal.com as one of the "Best Places For Acupuncture In Baltimore."

She is a participating provider with CareFirst BCBS, Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna and Hopkins EHP.

Tatyana Maltseva, M.Ac., L.Ac.

Acupuncture and Essential Oils

Tatyana is a licensed acupuncturist and practiced clinical neurology for 15 years prior to emigrating to the United States in 1994.

Tatyana received Master Degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in 1998.


For almost 20 years, Tatyana was a teacher in the institute’s (now the Maryland University of Integrative Health) acupuncture program, and held positions of Adjunct Faculty, Core Faculty, Division Chair (Touching Energy and Structure Division), and clinical supervisor.


Tatyana focuses her practice on

Valerie Brown, L.M.T.

Massage and Holistic Body/Skin Care

Valerie is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Richard Stockton University, her Master's Degree from Temple University, and received her training in Massage Therapy at the Baltimore School of Massage.


Blending her personal training background with massage therapy she incorporates stretching, movement and kneading to provide restorative, therapeutic treatment that aid the body's natural healing process, creating a massage tailored to their individual needs, making every session a step forward on the road to recovery and positive change.

She also provides maintenance massage to release general tension and increase circulation to muscles and joints.

Lena Bezman, M.Sc., M.P.H., C.N.S.

Lena is a life long student of Herbal and Natural Medicine, using herbs and food as a way to support your health.


Herbs and diet can be helpful in almost any medical condition and as a way to maintain good health to prevent any disease.


Lena is a licensed Dietitian- Nutritionist. She graduated with a Master's degree in Herbal Medicine from MUIH (formerly Tai Sophia Institute). Lena also has a Master's degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Vanessa Lorraine Jackson, Ph.D.

Reiki, Contemplative and Meditative Practices, Yoga

Vanessa Lorraine Jackson began teaching contemplative healing arts in 1990’s.   She is certified in Vinyasa Yoga, and several levels of Shambhala meditation. 


Vanessa is a member of the Center for Contemplative Minds in Society, and continues teaching contemplative practices in the community and at college events, and national and international conferences. She offers private and small group sessions for adults and children in meditation, mindful breathing, modified yoga, mind resilience, and cultural competency. She recently completed her doctorate from the University of Maryland, and holds a M.F.A. from Temple University and an M.A. from the University of Maryland.


Her mission and passion in life is teaching others how to create and sustain meaningful and authentic lives,  and use their inner intuition for redirecting their personal and professional pathways. Vanessa is committed to helping others tap into the power within in order calm and rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit.  Her personal healing experience utilizing the powers of meditation and mind resilience in 2013 shaped her awareness of the importance of blending Eastern and Western medicines to maintain a healthy mind, body and spirit.  After being diagnosed with cancer she engaged in a daily meditation and practicing yoga.  Her doctors were amazed to discover that over 90% of the cancer disappeared after receiving only one of the 6 months prescribed chemotherapy treatments.
